My son David lost his battle of addiction in Nov of 2021 at age 39. Struggling for years to maintain his sobriety after 4 years of being sober he turned back to drugs in 2017 and took his own life to end his battle. He is free and at peace but addiction won over sobriety. Stella Maris helped him get sober in 2013 and Davids desire to help people continued even when he couldn't help himself. So as his mom I honor his memory by helping others through funraisding for Stella Maris.
