Hello new friends!

I’m Lyndsey Weidow and I was asked by Tracie Pretak to join her on this incredible journey to raise funds and awareness for FIRST. Her daughter and my friend Bailey has ARCI lamellar Ichthyosis. 

I met Bailey in 2016 when we both starred in a local theater production of Jesus Christ Superstar. The auditorium in the school we practiced and preformed in was not air conditioned. It was then I learned what Ichthyosis was. Bailey made a statement about being concerned about overheating, so since I was not on the stage for a dancing scene, (thank goodness because I can’t dance!) I stationed myself under part of the stage right next to her. My job was to get Bailey off the stage should she become overheated.  

After that, Bailey and I became fast friends and the rest his history! Since then, I have participated in a variety of oppurtunities benefitting FIRST, such as some stops on the Release the Butterfly Tour and Bailey’s Broadway Birthday Bash, but I would say this is the largest by far!!

So, help me reach my goal to raise funds and awareness for FIRST. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
