Thank you for supporting this crazy endeavor to make solar ice in the desert. We successfully made 300 lbs of solar powered ice at the burn in 2023 (video of our setup) and are fine tuning our ice-making process this year with some improvements like using a swamp cooler instead of an AC. See how much ice each level of contribution will generate over the course of five years with this initial infrastructure investment. At scale and with time, the cost per cube will flatten out somewhere not too far above the cost of the water required.
