Indigenous Education Symposium

The Indigenous Education Symposium brings together educators to share the deep work of community-led curriculum design, to celebrate their successes, and learn from their colleagues. From the original Native Literature Symposium in June 2023 to the unveiling of the Indigenous Science curriculum this coming summer, NISN and our partners at the LANL Foundation have supported educators to collectively imagine what localized learning centered in Indigenous values can mean for our communities.

Your contribution can provide support to individual teachers seeking scholarships and travel, facilitation of Land-Based Healing and Learning excursions, local and nutritious meals, or help sustain this symposium for years to come!
