Before accepting your invitation, please read this important information to ensure you're fully prepared for the season ahead. Let’s make this season unforgettable! 🌪️💪

Guidelines for Consideration:

Team Membership fee is $350 (non-refundable), with an additional processing fee.
Club season is a significant TIME and FINANCIAL COMMITMENT. A decision to play for Canes means giving up many weeknights, weekends, and even family vacations. Total commitment for the entire season is expected upon accepting a team position.
Attendance at all practices is mandatory, barring legitimate reasons. Coaches must be notified at least one week in advance of any absences.
Team Players must be available for out-of-state tournament travel, and advance notification is required if they cannot attend 1-2 games. Tournament schedules may be announced with less than a month's notice; readiness for short-notice travel is crucial.
For out-of-state tournaments, which may last one or two days, players and parents are responsible for their own travel, transportation, and hotel arrangements. Team formation encourages carpooling, traveling without parents, or permitting children to travel with other parents; it recommends sharing hotel rooms with team players/coaches.
Boston Hurricanes tournaments primarily cater to players of Asian descent and aim to join more diverse Asian tournaments all year round. However, to compete in the NACBA Regionals and National, participants must be at least 25% Chinese and provide original documents (e.g., passport, birth certificate) for age and nationality verification.
