Capital Campaign: Building the Future of Health on Martha’s Vineyard
Martha’s Vineyard is home to over 20,000 year-round residents whose ability to live, work, and thrive depends on access to quality health care.
For over 20 years, Island Health Care (IHC) has been at the heart of that care. As the Island’s Federally Qualified Health Center, we provide equitable, affordable, and high-quality health services to all, regardless of ability to pay. Our patient-centered approach reaches beyond medicine—supporting behavioral health, chronic disease management, food security, and more.
But our facilities haven’t kept pace with our growth—or with the evolving needs of our community. That’s why we’ve launched a bold Capital Campaign to build a new, state-of-the-art, 7,500-square-foot health center. This expanded facility will allow us to serve more patients year-round and during peak seasons, enhance access to behavioral health and dental care, increase our telehealth capacity, and provide a modern, welcoming space for all who walk through our doors.
This is more than a building. It’s a long-term investment in the health of Martha’s Vineyard. Your donation helps ensure that everyone—from fishermen and farmers to teachers and retirees—has a place to turn for compassionate, comprehensive care. Together, we can build a healthier future for the Island we all love.
