Meet Brian A.
Brian has been incarcerated for nearly 15 years. His daughter, Regina, is 15 years old, and the last time he saw her was a decade ago when she was just five. “The last time I saw her was in Camp D,” Brian says. “She was so little.”
He has missed all the milestones since then — her first day of school, growing up, and now seeing her on her high school dance team. That’s why the Father-Daughter Dance means so much. “Just the thought of me and her dancing together — it feels good,” he says. “She can even teach me the dance stuff now.”
For Brian, being a father carries deep weight. “It means a whole lot,” he says. “Regina, I’m sorry I left you and wasn’t thinking at the time. I love you.”
Give today to help Brian share an unforgettable night with his daughter!
