Boost Oregon is an independent, nonprofit organization that empowers people to make science-based vaccine decisions for themselves, their families, and the community. We envision a world in which people's health decisions are rooted in science.

The COVID-19 pandemic illuminated how harmful a novel virus can be on communities without immunity. Once a vaccine was developed, Boost Oregon worked tirelessly to spotlight the research and scientific evidence available. We turned complicated concepts into accessible, everyday language. We listened to communities' concerns and trained medical providers how to respond effectively. Our grassroots educational approach--training trusted messengers to promote vaccines within their own communities--was a bright light during the darkness of the pandemic.

We are hosting "Illuminate the Night" on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Ecotrust Building in Portland. The event will shine light on our critical work, volunteers, and sponsors with live music, food, and drink. Our guests represent business, legal, and technological leaders, medical providers, public health advocates, parents, grandparents and other concerned citizens from across the state who want to ensure a healthy future for all Oregonians.

Boost Oregon is the only parent-led organization doing this critical work in the United States. We are funded by individual donors and community foundations; we do not accept donations from pharmaceutical companies. We are a 501(c)(3 ) charitable organization, and your donation is tax-deductible.
