imPacT FUND - APTA-MI Fall Conference

The imagine if...Scholarship currently provides up to three $10,000 renewable scholarships per year to underrepresented minority (URM) students at Grand Valley State University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program (Grand Rapids, MI). The goal of the scholarship is to improve representation in the PT profession in order to increase awareness of and access to Physical Therapy among these minority communities. We believe, in the long-term, this will reduce disparities in health outcomes making Physical Therapy care more equitable in our community, while inspiring other organizations and communities to take similarly creative steps to accomplish that goal!
