I want to share with you that there have been some significant changes at Imagine LA. As of October, Imagine LA's life-changing work with families exiting homelessness has been transferred into the capable hands of The Whole Child, an exceptional family services non-profit. Imagine LA's efforts to end poverty and homelessness are now solely focused on maximizing the inspiring impact of the new Benefit Navigator online tool and services and I have returned as CEO. The Benefit Navigator is an easy to use online “One-Stop-Shop” for understanding and accessing public benefits and refundable tax credits. Please know that the former Imagine LA families and their supportive staff are all doing well at The Whole Child who also has inhouse exceptional family mental health services integrated into their model. Also, as of November 1, the Benefits Navigator has identified over $108 million in additional benefits for 10,000 clients (in just the last 13 months) – and we are just getting started.
