About Act & Advance:

General Services Foundation's Act & Advance is our inaugural program to teach students the basics of service. With no previous background, they can get initial exposure to guest speakers, nonprofit projects, and find their niche in the community. We support students in developing a lifelong passion for service.

About The Young Nonprofit Fellowship:

General Services Foundation's Young Nonprofit Fellowship is a program where high schoolers intern with local RTP-based nonprofits, learn professional development skills, and execute a large-scale initiative of their choice benefiting the nonprofit they work with. Fellows also have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the local community by visiting nonprofits, making partners, and networking. This program is often for students with a larger background in service and even looking into the nonprofit sector as a potential career.

About General Services Foundation:

General Services Foundation is a youth-led 501(c)3 that teaches high schoolers and other students how to get into the service community. Leaders teach their peers how to host drives, fundraisers, events, and other initiatives to benefit General Services Foundation's 40+ nonprofit partners.
