When we explained the power of Scholarship Awards to transform lives, our peers already understood, our peers have already lived lives that embody justice investing. We trust our collective reach, we trust the impact youth and families have on the community, and we trust our growth is the testimony.

KAOS Network is an artistic cultural oasis in Leimert Park, Los Angeles that has been curating positive shared experiences in BlackDesign (Afrofuturism), music, and technology for decades. To empower artists and filmmakers of the community with the knowledge and understanding of the 21st century’s “cyber” technology, KAOS offers participation in hands-on courses in video production and website development, giving local artists space to work, create and share ideas and talents.
Tha JuiceJoint is a Los Angeles Iconic Open Mic for Music Community with over a decade of inspiring artists to create and self express alongside healing collaborators. Partners with growURpotential.org to provide scholarships for mental health care for community members.
ProjectQ Community Center is a non-profit organization that provides safe space for LGBTQIA+ youth, with priority for youth with housing insecurities. ProjectQ provides free mentorship classes and workshops in service to workforce development, along with free gender-affirming hair care services in support of dignity and community engagement for everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, size, ability, and income.
growURpotential is a healing justice counseling center and systems change accelerator dedicated to expanding access to culturally responsive mental health care by training and supporting care providers from historically underrepresented lived experience. We trust that healing takes authentic mentorship, culturally flexible training, and investments rooted in community wellbeing and equity.
