Who We Are: Impulse Youth Arts is a non-profit organization (established in 1999) that trains and equips musicians/artists to perform at the highest levels of DCI (Drum Corps International) and WGI (Winter Guard International). We are committed to fostering a family atmosphere that supports the members mentally and physically. Our goal is to equip our members to be leaders in their own organizations and communities!

Our Summer Program: Our Drum Corps is an intensive five week training from June 12 - July 18. We have a fabulous staff that prepares our students to perform/compete throughout California. This summer we will be taking the students on the road from July 8 - July 12! They will have the opportunity to entertain thousands of spectators with performances at: The Rose Bowl, University of Stanford, University of Sacramento, Bakersfield, San Diego, Riverside, and back home in Los Angeles.

Student Responsibility: As you can imagine there is a significant expense to putting a program like this together. Students pay a tuition of $2,700 which goes towards: bus rental, gas, meals while on the road, housing, uniforms, equipment, educational staff, facility rental, and DCI fees, Our staff and board are dedicated towards putting tuition fees back into the program for the members.

Your contribution will go DIRECTLY towards student tuition, opening the door for more young people to participate. Thank you so much for your consideration!
