In Memory of William “Bill” Whetsel
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Rumshock Veterans Foundation to continue the mission Bill began — serving those who served us.
Unfortunately, the Rumshock Veterans Foundation is sad to announce that its founder, Bill Whetsel, passed away this past weekend after a long health battle that he fought ever so valiantly.
Bill started the Rumshock Veterans Foundation in 2019 with one simple mission: Make a difference in the lives of Veterans any way he could. Fast forward 7 years, as RVF is in the process of accomplishing Bill’s dream of building a tiny home community for homeless veterans.
Bill was truly an inspiration to everyone in his life and proof of what is possible if you put your mind to something, you can achieve anything. He had an infectious love for life and a passion to make a difference in his community. Bill made an impact on everyone that met him and will be forever remembered by the change that he has inspired. He will be greatly missed.
Bill has lit a fire that cannot be extinguished, and Rumshock Veterans Foundation will continue to feed each and every day.
Your support will help ensure that Bill’s vision lives on — providing assistance, hope, and stability to veterans in need.
Thank you for honoring Bill’s life, his service, and his unwavering commitment to making a difference.
