Dear [Donor first name],

Thank you for your gift to Appendicure in memory of Dan Wassink.

Dan was part of our community, and losing him hurts. His family chose Appendicure to honor him, and your gift helps carry that forward. It supports appendix cancer research, help for patients and families, and the work of getting appendix cancer patients into clinical trials that too often leave them out.

We will let Dan’s family know that you gave in his memory. We will not share the amount.

Appendicure is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 41-5040966. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your gift. For U.S. donors, your gift is tax-deductible as allowed by law. Please keep this letter, along with the receipt from Givebutter, for your records.

With gratitude,

Amanda Moore
