Cyber Mettle is building a community-powered model for cyber resilience.

Too many nonprofits and community-serving organizations operate with thin budgets, outdated systems, and no practical security support. When they get hit, real people lose real services. We exist to change that by delivering accessible cybersecurity support while creating paid, supervised entry-level jobs that produce measurable results.

This campaign’s goal is to raise $1.5 million to launch and operate Cyber Mettle at the scale our community needs. Your support will directly fund the people and infrastructure required to do this work responsibly and sustainably.

What your gift makes possible:

• 10 entry-level Associate jobs
Paid, supervised roles for early-career cybersecurity talent to deliver real-world services, gain experience, and build long-term careers.

• 2 supervisory positions
Experienced leaders to train Associates, ensure quality, and protect the organizations we serve through strong oversight and consistent standards.

• 5 operational staff roles
The team needed to run the nonprofit well: program management, client intake and coordination, partnerships, fundraising/development, and day-to-day operations that keep services reliable and scalable.

The outcome: more nonprofits and community service oriented small businesses with stronger defenses, clearer response plans, and fewer preventable incidents, plus a legitimate workforce pathway that creates jobs and builds skills in the same move.

Cyber Mettle is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization recognized by the IRS under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations will be used to build and operate the program and expand services to organizations that need protection now. If approval is granted, contributions may become tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
