At just 17 years old, Trinity Jagdeo turned heartbreak into hope. After watching her best friend, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, struggle through a world not built for her, Trinity decided to do something about it. What started as a single act of love has grown into From We Can’t to We Can—a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing representation, accessibility, and inclusion for the disability community.

Now, Trinity has written and illustrated five children’s books based on real kids with disabilities—books where they aren’t sidelined, but celebrated as superheroes. From We Can't to We Can has hosted inclusive events across New Jersey, created spaces where children of all abilities can shine, and launched a free medical equipment program that gifts families the life-changing tools they’ve been denied by insurance.

We’ve never had a large safety net or government funding. Instead, we’ve always depended on real people like you—donors, advocates, and believers in inclusion—to keep our work alive.

We are trying to raise $25,000 to keep our mission going strong. These funds will:

Keep our medical equipment program running so no child goes without what they need
