What's missing — because it isn't talent

Ask our members what stands between them and their next step, and the answers repeat: the repair that puts ten instruments back in circulation. The instruments themselves. Training for teachers who want to take their students further. The unglamorous administrative work every program runs on. And leaders — brilliant, stretched — carrying all of it without a peer in reach. In some countries, Congo among them, programs carry it through political upheaval and war, where steady outside funding is hardest to find and matters most.

Some of the strongest founders in our network haven't opened their doors yet. The children are already on the list. The room is ready. The instruments aren't there — and in some cases, choir training alone would let the music start before a single instrument arrives.

Here's the truth that should move you: more programs are joining the Opus Network than we can currently fund. The talent pipeline is full. The grant pool isn't. That's the gap — and it's the one thing on this page you control.

Two ways to give

Give to the full network — this is the default, and it's the one we'd choose. Your gift joins a shared pool that becomes Stand Partners micro-grants of $500–$1,000 and teaching support that member programs invite in through TAI Fellows. Pooled money goes where the need is sharpest, fastest.

Or give to one program. Open the fund menu at checkout and choose any of the 26 members — or, if you arrived from a program's own page, they're already selected. 90% goes straight to that program. 10% covers delivery: the international transfer, confirmation that it arrived, and a report back to you. Designated gifts travel together each quarter, so fees never eat into small gifts.
