Before the first workshop happens, the first animal arrives, or the first student walks through the gate, The Living Ground needs to be built out. This campaign funds the physical infrastructure that makes every educational program possible.

We are talking about fencing, barn renovation, utility connections, irrigation systems, drainage, pathways, signage, and the structural work that turns raw acreage into a functioning educational farm. None of the other programs on this list can operate without this foundation in place first.

How your donation will be used:
Funds go directly toward materials, labor, permits, and contractor costs associated with the buildout of the educational spaces leased by Bryant & Co. Foundation on The Living Ground property. This includes fencing for animal programs, renovation of the learning hub barn, utility hookups, and ADA accessible pathways for community programming.

How it will be tracked and reported:
All expenditures are logged by category in our accounting system and tied to specific line items in our buildout plan. Donors will receive quarterly progress updates including photos, receipts summaries, and milestone completions. Major donors of $5,000 or more will receive a dedicated project update with full cost documentation.

Why this matters:
A farm that cannot safely house animals, welcome students, or run workshops is just land. This campaign turns the land into something alive.
