In Honor of Brian Collins

January 2, 1974 - November 3rd, 2025

Brian Collins walked a sacred path with integrity and devotion. One of his highest callings was to step into spiritual leadership in service to his community as an initiated mara’akame. His deep relationships and connection to the Wixárika people in San Andres Cohomiata of the Sierra Madre Mountains shaped his spirit. His heart forever carried their homelands, where he would return for his annual pilgrimages.

All contributions will support the Wixárika people through the San Andres Fund whose tradition guided Brian in a devoted path of service to all people.

The San Andres Fund was created in 2005 by Grupo Tatewari medicine group of which Brian was a big part. This fund is specifically to help the Wixárika people continue to uphold their culture and traditions by funding ceremonial centers and pilgrimages.
