IEJI is leveraging the power of data storytelling to amplify the voices of workers who are too often barred from participating in the labor force and contributing to the growth of regional economies. We are on a mission to shift the narrative around the employment of workers with records by highlighting the insurmountable impact a criminal record has on workforce participation rates and overall employment outcomes. Through data, we can raise awareness around factors that give rise to poor labor market outcomes for people with criminal histories.
