The longest day of the year has long symbolized light, renewal, and possibility. In honor of the Summer Solstice on June 20 and International Day of Yoga on June 21, the St. Louis yoga community is coming together with intention to support youth wellness through The Oxygen Project: Yoga for Youth.

On June 20, participating yoga studios will host donation-based classes and welcome students of all levels to give what they can. Each studio will also take part in a friendly community challenge to see which studio can raise the most in support of The Oxygen Project’s trauma-informed yoga, mindfulness, and social-emotional wellness programming for youth.

Every donation helps us create safe, supportive spaces where young people can breathe, reset, build resilience, and develop tools for self-regulation and well-being.

Together, we can turn the light of the season into lasting support for youth across the St. Louis region.
