The Human Thread Foundation was founded by humanitarian photographer Lisa Kristine, whose work has brought the hidden world of modern slavery into the light for over two decades. Earlier this year, Lisa spoke at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, alongside survivors, lawmakers, and advocates from around the world.

The message was clear: when we give voice to the unheard, we gain a more just world for everyone.
