When you generously donated to Rise Alliance for Children (formerly WWO) before, so many kids’ lives in Ethiopia, and the other countries where we work, improved dramatically. 

Your last gift helped open the doors for more than 22,000 Ethiopian kids to participate in our play-based programming every single school day! Their smiles and excitement to learn were met by more than 1,200 teachers, newly trained in Rise’s program, ready to help them thrive.

These kids are making real progress in recovering from personal traumas and becoming ready to thrive in kindergarten and 1st grade. But there are many more children still waiting for their chance at a safe place to learn. They are stuck in the isolation of their trauma. They can’t learn and they have difficulty making friends.  

The good news is that more teachers in Ethiopia are ready to receive the resources and training that we provide.
