The Teaching Artists Guild's (TAG) theme for this year is "Creative Resilience." But what exactly does that mean? The last few years have seen drastic changes in the field of teaching artistry and arts education. Teaching artists, as those at the forefront of the movement, have adapted quickly and creatively to this turbulent, ever-shifting landscape.

With every challenge our community faces—from shrinking budgets to organizational closings to a shift in the capacity schools and communities have for the arts—teaching artists across the country continue to use their talents and determination to combat these issues in creative ways. So we want to celebrate that creative resilience while simultaneously working to better support teaching artists in the future.

This #GivingTuesday, please consider donating to TAG and to the many teaching artists who make up our leadership. TAG exists to serve and support teaching artists, especially in difficult times like these where the state of teaching artistry is constantly shifting.

Donations to TAG will go to support: regional programming and advocacy issues; professional development; leadership training; fair pay for teaching artists; raising the visibility of teaching artists; so much more. There are no small donations. Even $20 can go a long way to support our grassroots organization.
