We’ve got something exciting in the works: Our very first Jazz Fest, happening September 12–14, 2025, right here in Three Oaks!

This is more than a weekend of incredible music. It’s a celebration of creativity, culture, and community, and a chance to shine a spotlight on jazz in all its forms, from classic standards to contemporary twists. But like all great things, we can’t do it without you.

In the coming days, we’ll be inviting our supporters - that’s you - to help us bring Jazz Fest to life through your donations or sponsorships. Whether you can give a little or a lot, your support will directly impact local students, musicians, and audiences who benefit from everything SAM brings to this community.

Our founder, the late Garth Taylor, set a goal for SAM to create a Jazz Fest that would take place over a weekend and bring both local and nationally recognized jazz artists to Harbor Country.

That dream has become a reality, and it will take place September 12 -14, 2025, featuring performances at The Acorn Theater, the Vickers Theater, and at Commune + Market in downtown Three Oaks. We have secured renown jazz artists from Chicago, as well as local artists from Harbor Country to create an exciting, dynamic and entertaining event that will include a headlining jazz retrospective at The Acorn with a 7-piece jazz band that will get you dancing, a headliner at The Vickers on Saturday evening and wrapping up with a Smooth Jazz Sunday Brunch at Commune + Market.
