Independent Shakespeare Co. presents the annual Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival, the largest, most successful theater event of its kind in Los Angeles. Did you know that 80% of our funding comes from donors like you? There is an assumption that because we are in Griffith Park, the city must be fully funding the Griffith Park Shakespeare Festival. However, that is not the case! We do receive some government and foundation support, totaling 20% of our festival budget.
