Support Ishami. Help us create, connect, and move together.

Ishami Dance Company is a Bay Area company rooted in the South Asian diaspora. Through dance, storytelling, and community gatherings, we explore identity, belonging, gender, and queerness—creating space for people to express themselves fully.

In 2026, we:

Presented 15 performances
Reached 3,500+ audience members
Engaged 500+ students
Reached 500,000+ views with our Here We Go music video collaboration
Hosted the third annual Roots & Rhythms, the Bay Area’s first South Asian dance convention

We’re preparing to expand our programming in 2027. Your gift helps us:

Pay artists and support rehearsals and productions
Expand educational programs and accessible community events
Bring Pehchaan back to the Bay Area and to new audiences
Host the fourth annual Roots & Rhythms convention
Develop Primal Rhythms, featuring original choreography and music

Make a year-end gift to support our artists, share our stories, and help our community grow.
