Our annual fundraising gala, Fiesta de la Primavera, is the ISLA PTO’s most important event of the year—and our sponsors make it possible. This year's event is May 9, but you receive visibility for your business before, during, and after the event—through December 31!

When you sponsor Fiesta, you’re doing more than supporting a great night out. You are helping fund the programs and experiences that define the ISLA community and support our students every day.

Your sponsorship plays a direct role in:

Bringing native Spanish-speaking Language Ambassadors from Spain, Mexico, Colombia, and more into ISLA classrooms to work alongside teachers and enrich student learning
Supporting classroom needs, field trips, and student experiences that go beyond what public funding alone can provide
Strengthening community connections among families, staff, and students through meaningful events and shared experiences

These initiatives are led entirely by the ISLA PTO, a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. There are no paid PTO positions—every dollar raised through Fiesta goes back into supporting our school community.

Fiesta sponsors are recognized as key partners in making our best event of the year—and our PTO’s mission—possible. In return, sponsors receive thoughtful visibility before, during, and after the event and across ISLA’s family communication channels, reaching a highly engaged community of more than 500 families, educators, and supporters in the Twin Cities and beyond.

About the Optional Tip and Platform Fees

When registering for classes, you'll see an "Optional Tip" for the Givebutter platform (which the PTO and school are using to collect payments). 100% of this Optional Tip goes to Givebutter, not to ISLA PTO. Additionally, the transaction fee is 2.9% + $0.30. Both of these are optional for you to pay.

To reduce the optional tip, change the 15% to 12 or 10%, or select Other to change it to a lower (or higher) number. Feel free to choose 0% for the optional tip!
To remove the transaction fee, click Edit next to the transaction fee. Uncheck "I want to cover the fees" and this fee will be removed from your payment. Doing so does not change the amount the PTO receives (update from the video).
