The Current Situation in Lebanon (As of October 5th, 2024)

Lebanon is enduring a devastating crisis, with over 3,000 buildings destroyed in just the past two weeks. Beirut has been bombed for seven consecutive nights, with more than 25 bombs dropped in a single night, and critical infrastructures such as hospitals and paramedic teams have been targeted. Citizens in the south have been instructed to leave and not return, while house helpers and low-income workers are now on the streets, left jobless and homeless.

How Into The Light International (ITLI) is Responding

Amidst the turmoil, ITLI remains on the ground, providing critical aid to those displaced by the ongoing conflict. Our team is actively:

• Cooking and packaging meals for those in need.
• Assisting in finding temporary and permanent housing for displaced families.
• Coordinating with shelters to supply volunteers and resources.
• Fund raising for medical emergencies.
• Offering emotional and practical support by walking alongside those affected by the conflict.
