IDAAY's Juneteenth Fundraiser With EACE Committee

Every year, the EACE Conference Committee selects an organization to support within the local
community in which the annual conference will take place.
The EACE24 Committee is excited to share our support for the Institute for the Development of African-
American Youth, Inc. (IDAAY) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The outstanding cultural, educational,
prevention, and intervention programs and support services have made a difference by reducing high-
level violence in underserved youth populations in Philadelphia. Their mission to educate and empower
youth resonated deeply and inspired us to support this critical work. IDAAY was created by Dr. S. Archye
Leacock and Steven T. Robinson in 1991.
We are thrilled to highlight the amazing, committed work that IDAAY accomplishes every day and are
honored to contribute to their mission of education and empowerment of the youth of Philadelphia.
We look forward to welcoming Dr. Leacock to our Celebration of Juneteenth on the opening day of the
Conference to serve as a fireside chat speaker and share more about the incredible work IDAAY has
accomplished over the past 30+ years.
