Hoosier Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing injured, orphaned, and displaced wild animals across Central Indiana. Founded out of a deep commitment to native wildlife and conservation, we provide critical care to hundreds of animals each year — from songbirds and squirrels to foxes and fawns.

In addition to hands-on rescue work, we focus on community education and outreach. By teaching the public how to coexist with wildlife, we reduce unnecessary rescues and empower people to protect Indiana’s natural heritage. Our team is volunteer-driven, donation-funded, and on call year-round to respond to wildlife in need.

Every life we save is made possible by the generosity of our supporters, and every dollar goes directly toward food, housing, and medical care for the animals we serve.
