Meet Emme, a recently rescued 6-month-old-female Lab mix. This little girl is at the beginning of her life but already facing a huge problem. Right now, Emme is limping and you can tell she is favoring her left hind leg and not putting too much weight on it. She will need tibial crest avulsion surgery. She is taking pain meds at this time.

If left untreated, it can leave her unable to use her knee properly and hence affect gait and quality of life. She may have pain or mobility issues later on. Since she is a puppy, the vet and the surgeon suggest surgery. The surgery involves putting a pin in the fracture to anchor the broken piece in the right spot.

The estimate for this surgery is $2,831.37 and we would like to do it sooner than later so she could heal and be pain free. We already spent a good amount on investigations to see what she has.
