Santa Clara High School Class of '94 Scholarship
Your Impact in Action: A Message from Our First Scholar
Last year, with your support, we awarded the first-ever Project 94 Scholarship. We wanted to share the direct impact of your generosity, in the words of the recipient, Gyan Nawbatt:
"I am writing to thank you for selecting me as the recipient of the SCHS Class of 1994 Scholarship. I am truly honored and grateful... This scholarship will help ease the financial burden of my college tuition and allow me to focus more on my academic growth. This fall, I will be attending the University of California, Irvine, where I plan to study engineering.
Knowing that there is a community of SCHS alumni who continue to support the next generation of students is inspiring, reminding me of the importance of giving back, an example that I hope to follow one day.
Once again, thank you for your generosity, your support means a lot to me."

Let's Continue the Legacy
Gyan's story is the very reason we founded Project 94. Our mission is to help deserving Santa Clara High School graduates overcome financial barriers and create an enduring legacy of opportunity, strengthening the bond between alumni and our alma mater.
But we're just getting started.
This year, our goal is to continue this momentum and fund our scholarship program for the next deserving graduate(s). We are committed to supporting students on all paths to success and are again seeking to fund our two scholarship opportunities:
-
Four-Year College or University Scholarship: $4,000 for a graduating senior pursuing a four-year degree.
-
Trade School Scholarship: $1,000 for a graduating senior attending a trade or vocational school.
Here's How You Can Help:
To make this possible, we have four specific requests for our fellow classmates this year:
-
Give: Please consider a $100 donation to honor our class. Of course, any amount is deeply appreciated, and every dollar goes directly to supporting SCHS students.
-
Match: Double your impact. Check if your employer offers a company matching program for charitable donations. This is often a simple form that can turn your $100 into $200.
-
Recur: Become a sustaining partner by signing up for recurring giving. A monthly donation—even $10 or $20—provides predictable, ongoing support that allows us to plan for the future.
-
Share: Tell a friend. Share this campaign with other SCHS alumni or anyone in your network who believes in supporting the next generation.
Ready to Make a Difference?
Your gift, no matter the size, is an investment in potential and a resounding message of hope to a young graduate. Donations are tax-deductible.
