Asian American Performers Action Coalition

AAPAC

AAPAC (the Asian American Performers Action Coalition) is an organization devoted to expanding the perception of Asian American performers in order to increase their access to and representation on New York City’s stages. Their annual Visibility Report documents and analyzes employment statistics by race for actors, directors, playwrights, composers, librettists, and designers for all of Broadway and the 18 largest non-profit theatre companies in New York City. It is the only publicly available report of its kind. For their advocacy work, AAPAC has received a Tony Honor and an Obie Award.

AAPAC is a grassroots organization comprised of volunteers.  If you'd like to support our work, please consider making a donation. 100% of your donations here will help us continue to release our annual Visibility Report and undertake a variety of other initiatives to address and challenge issues in the theater industry, including Yellowface, Orientalism, and inclusion/safety for AAPI artists.
