Hi everyone,

My name is Monica, and I run a small equestrian school where we teach riding lessons and care for horses. Recently, while on my way back to the school with a load of hay for the horses, my truck's engine showed an overheated warning. I quickly found a safe place to park and called the family scheduled for a lesson that day to explain the situation. I needed to get the hay delivered and my truck towed to the shop.

To my surprise and immense gratitude, the family offered to rescue the hay from my truck. They came out to where I was stranded, brought the hay back to the ranch, and stored it in the hay shed. They were incredibly understanding and rescheduled their lesson for later that day.

I managed to get my truck to the shop and got a ride back to the ranch to tend to the horses. Once I had the horses taken care of, my anxiety began to ease. Then I got the call from the shop: the repairs for my Tundra would cost $1390. The thermostat housing needed replacement, the fan clutch was leaking and loose, fluids needed coolant refilling, and it was time for an oil and filter change.

This repair bill couldn't have come at a worse time. Many of my students are on vacation this month, leading to a significant drop in income. Additionally, I've had to deal with a raise in ranch rental fees, an insurance renewal fee, and the horses needing their biannual vaccines this month. The list goes on, and right now, I'm barely making enough to cover food for myself.

Without the Tundra, I'm unable to take students out on scheduled adventures, which is a crucial part of how I make money. We have two adventures starting next week, and without the truck, I won’t be able to fulfill those commitments.

I am reaching out to our community and beyond for help. Any amount you can contribute will bring us closer to getting our truck back on the road, ensuring the well-being of our horses and the continuation of our equestrian programs.
