WTB Repeat the Beat

Spread the Music Foundation dba Walk the Beat (WTB) is an all volunteer nonprofit organization that builds communities through music. We create opportunities for musical education, relationships, and performance. Walk the Beat brings musicians to audiences in unexpected places. Our Vision:  Music Everywhere for Everyone

We accomplish our mission by: 

• • Hosting an annual street music festival that partners with local businesses and sponsors.
  • Providing instruments and lessons free to local youth ages 5 – 25 all year round, through a program called Repeat the Beat. WTB hires local musicians as instructors.
  • Supporting live cultural performance opportunities for working musicians as free musical entertainment for community members.
