Giving Tuesday is a world-wide day of giving to help non-profits continue their beneficial work in local communities. Helping Hands and the Gateway House for Women have been busy working with men and women who are seeking to overcome addiction and find Hope for a future of sobriety. Thus far in 2023 eighty-three (83) men and women have been assisted in entering recovery programs by Helping Hands!

Every community no matter how small or rural, how large or metropolitan, has a drug abuse problem that leads to destruction of families, health, and far too often, death.

The Gateway House provides a safe place for women to stay as we help them find a long-term life recovery program. These services are offered free of charge and are funded by donations from individuals, businesses, and churches.

In 2022 we began to offer re-entry housing for up to two women at a time. Currently two women are living at the Gateway House in this capacity. They are working hard to achieve the goals they have set for a bright future of Hope, knowing that their relationship with Jesus is the key. Recovery is their new high!
