Haven's Harvest is a New Haven based organization that uses volunteers to rescue food from local grocery stores, restaurants, bakeries, and universities and brings it to senior centers, pre-schools, homeless shelters, and transitional housing sites. This food helps feed people who need it but equally important, it keeps the food from going to waste and being thrown away. The dual goal of social justice and environmental impact make this organization worthy of your donation.
