This January, MorDance will be making a thrilling announcement—we are expanding to Yonkers while staying deeply rooted in NYC. We are set to establish our own physical space, unlocking artistic freedom, expanding performances, and enhancing outreach programs with under-resourced youth. This space will not only serve as a hub for creativity and collaboration but also as a home for our growing community.

After a decade of dance-making and community impact, this is a truly thrilling time for our organization. However, to make this dream a reality, we need your help. Originally planning to move in 2025, we received an incredible offer for a temporary home at an unused space owned by AMS Acquisitions. This opportunity allows us to relocate in January, but we now need funds to purchase a sprung marley dance floor. This flooring is vital for our dancers' safety during rehearsals and performances, as well as for the launch of our after-school dance classes with students from under-resourced community groups.

We hope you might consider joining us by supporting a square of this new flooring. One 8ft x 4th panel costs $550 and we need 40 of these panels. Your contribution will impact generations to come, enabling us to perform anywhere with portable flooring suitable for both outdoor and indoor use on any flat surface.

In the coming weeks, our press releases will be featured across media outlets, and we will send out invitations for exciting events. Attached to this email is our prospectus for the first half of 2024, offering a sneak peek into our vision for the upcoming year.
