Stretch those muscles and tighten those goggles — it’s time for our annual HPAC Swim-A-Thon, and this year’s event is bigger, bolder, and more impactful than ever! On Thursday, December 11, our athletes will hit the pool to swim up to 200 laps in a fun, fast-paced challenge that unites our entire team.

This USA Swimming Foundation–approved fundraiser supports both local excellence and national access to swimming. Let’s make waves together!

💸 Where Your Donation Goes

95% supports HPAC’s general fund — supporting swim scholarships, upgraded equipment, coaching excellence, and athlete development.
5% goes to the USA Swimming Foundation, helping kids nationwide learn to swim safely and confidently.

📣 How to Get Involved

Pledge Period: Saturday, November 1 – Saturday, December 20
Swimmers can ask family, friends, neighbors, and organizations to sponsor their laps.

Employer Matching: If your employer offers donation matching, it can boost our total impact! (Note: Matches won’t count toward individual prize totals due to processing delays.)

Parent Power: Parents are invited to count laps and cheer poolside. Let’s make it a celebration!

❓ FAQs

Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes! HPAC is a registered non-profit. Our tax ID is 27-0239294.

How do I select my swimmer when donating?
This may be done in one of two ways. Select the Donate button at the top right corner of the platform home page, scroll down in the popup window to the swimmers (listed in alphabetical order by first name) and click on your swimmer. Second option, scroll down to the swimmers list on the platform home page, click on your swimmer’s name. This will take you to the “swimmer page” and then click the Donate button in the upper right corner.

Can I donate by check?
Absolutely. Make checks payable to HP Aquatics Club and include Swim-A-Thon in the memo line. Checks may be mailed to PO Box 253, Highland Park, IL 60035

When do I collect donations?
Flat donations can be collected anytime. Per-lap pledges will be collected after the event, once lap counts are confirmed.

Deadline for pledges?
All pledges must be submitted by Saturday, December 20. Prizes will be awarded shortly after.

Employer Matching: Double the Impact!

Does your company offer donation matching? If so, your contribution to the HPAC Swim-A-Thon could go even further! Matched donations help us reach our overall fundraising goal and keep our team well-equipped for the season ahead.

Important Note: While employer matches are a fantastic boost to our total, they won’t count toward individual swimmer prize levels due to processing delays (typically 6–8 weeks) and because not all athletes have access to matching programs.
