Dear Serenity Oaks Board Members,

As we wrap up this year, I want to say a heartfelt thank-you to each of you. Because of your support and guidance, Serenity Oaks had its best year ever. We’ve helped more Thoroughbreds move safely and successfully into their next chapter, and your leadership made that possible.

This year, we watched horses like Nash and Igor settle into new homes where they are understood and appreciated. Seeing them thrive reminds us why Thoroughbred aftercare matters so much — giving each horse the time, training, and support they need after the track.

We’ve strengthened our retraining program, built stronger partnerships, and continued improving the way we help these horses transition into their second careers. None of this would have happened without your steady commitment to Serenity Oaks.

A Simple Request for Giving Tuesday: Help Us Create a Match

Giving Tuesday is coming up soon, and we have a big opportunity.

Studies show that fundraising campaigns with a match bring in more donors and raise more money. People love knowing their gift will go twice as far — it motivates them to give and to give at a higher level.

That’s why I’m asking if you would consider creating a Board-sponsored matching gift for Giving Tuesday.

A match of any size would:

• Encourage more people to donate

• Help us reach our year-end goal

• Directly support our Thoroughbreds as they retrain and prepare for their next careers

This kind of support makes a huge difference, especially with the rising costs of hay, feed, farrier work, vet care, and training.
