Presidents Challenge Scholarship
Thanks to the generosity of donor investors, the President’s Challenge Scholarship (PCS) assists first-generation Ulster County high school students with overcoming financial barriers associated with attending college. Students are identified in the eighth grade by their school district and receive college coaching and readiness support through the completion of high school. Upon graduation, students can attend SUNY Ulster tuition-free for two years.
The PCS Program began with just six students from Rondout Valley Central School District in 2016. Today, over 300 scholarships have been awarded to students from all nine Ulster County public school districts. Our largest cohort to date recently graduated from SUNY Ulster and are on the path to success!
Donor investors receive updates about the program, invitations to campus visits also attended by scholarship recipients and the satisfaction of knowing they've positively impacted
We sincerely hope you'll invest in student success by supporting the President's Challenge at SUNY Ulster. Use the buttons here to donate online or call the Ulster Community College Foundation at 845 687 5283 to make payment by phone.
