The New Haven YMCA Youth Center serves the New Haven community by providing youth programming for children age 1-12 years of age in various programs where 90% of our participants are receiving financial support through grants and our Annual Campaign funding. Additionally, we provide open recreation and swim lessons for teens/young adults 13-21 at no cost to the participant, this is an effort on our part to provide a safe space for young people to socialize in a controlled space and learn aquatic skills they may not have had the opportunity to gain elsewhere. The New Haven YMCA Youth Center has been a home away from home for children and youth of the New Haven community for decades. Our Annual Campaign which is supported by our staff, board of directors, community foundations and individual community members has helped us continue to live up to our mission of welcoming everyone into programming regardless of their ability to pay. We need your help to continue the important work that we do.
