Imagine carrying a child for 34 weeks… feeling every kick, preparing every tiny outfit, naming the baby… only to leave the hospital with empty arms and a balance due.

That was her reality. A mother in our community gave birth to her stillborn son and within days, she was faced with over $6,000 in unpaid medical and memorial expenses. She was offered no counseling. No doula. No grief support. Just paperwork and silence.

She was grieving and trying to survive.
That’s when Covenant Lives Healing Heart Agency showed up.

Through our Healing Hearts Bereavement Fund, we helped her cover funeral costs, sent a grief care kit, connected her with a peer support companion, and offered space to honor her baby’s name.

This fund exists because families like hers should not have to grieve alone—or go broke trying to heal.

What This Fund Supports:

💙 Funeral and memorial support for grieving families
💙 Emergency bill payments for parents after pregnancy or infant loss
💙 Doula and grief care services for those in need
💙 Scholarships for community-based birth workers (especially Black and Brown doulas and midwives)
💙 Healing kits, honoring rituals, and sacred postpartum resources

How You Can Help:

💠 $25 – Sends a grief care kit to a bereaved mother
💠 $100 – Covers a grief support or legacy planning session
💠 $500 – Helps fund a memorial or emergency household bills
💠 $1,000 – Provides full doula/postpartum care for a grieving family
💠 $5,000 – Funds a full scholarship for a birth worker to serve others

Our Goal:

Raise $50,000 to support at least 100 families and 20 birth workers in 2025.
