In collaboration with Above Par Network, Aqua Therapy Tubs, EZ Sports Talk Radio, Cactus Mobile Casino and The Hub Grill & Bar Stapley we are excited to announce Jail N Bail 2023 to raise funds for seniors and caregivers at Oakwood Creative Care. OCC board members and their accomplices have been thrown in Oakwood jail, and must raise their bail money in donations to Oakwood to get out! Join us in-person on April 1st at The HUB Grill & Bar for an afternoon of blackjack and raffle prizes in the jailhouse, or virtually anytime to spark joy in the lives of families in a fight to keep their loved ones present, with dignity.

Funds raised from this event directly benefit Oakwood Creative Care’s members and families, giving low income individuals access to attend OCC’s Day Club Programs. Every $100 raised offers a day at an OCC Club including comprehensive nursing care, nutrition, engagement, and a place to experience purpose and meaning.

As Dementia Experts we are acutely aware of the national crisis we are facing. Arizona is winning a race no one wants - the fastest growing rate of Alzheimer's disease. Today 5.8 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease, and by 2050 it is estimated there will be 14 million cases. The costs of care; monetarily, physically, and emotionally should not be bared alone. Oakwood works to move the issues of dementia out of the immediate family circle and into the broader community. Providing a safe place for Caregivers to bring their loved one and helping those diagnosed find purpose, community and joy in their days is our work at Oakwood Creative Care.
