In our 49-year history, the Las Vegas (NV) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has completed over 135,000 service hours enriching our community.

Our community service work has been centered around education and providing history lessons and tutoring to elementary school aged students, our efforts were instrumental in getting Kermit R. Booker elementary school removed from the list of At-Risk schools in Nevada.

We continue advancing early childhood education with our dedicated volunteering at Don Hayden elementary school, focused on improving their reading and comprehension testing scores. We are working throughout Clark County on STEAM initiatives and are introducing our youth to new pathways toward future learnings.

Our focus on education is also expressed through our commitment to advanced education and providing scholarships to high school graduates entering colleges and universities. We have provided over $250,000 in scholarships to students residing within Clark County.

Our Fostering Links to Success Program supports youth aging out of foster care with life skills workshops.

Internationally we work with school age children in Kenya providing them with basic hygiene items so that there is no hinderance to attending school with dignity.

In the Fall and Spring, we promote health and wellness through walking for healthy living and providing mental and physical wellness resources to the Clark County community.
