211 LA, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1981, serves as the trusted lifeline for individuals and families impacted by the devastating wildfires.

In partnership with Airbnb.org, Hilton, American Express, and your support, 211 LA has provided seven-day Airbnb credits to 7,776 households and secured over 20,000 hotel room nights, offering temporary housing to more than 30,000 people.

Over the past week, the 211LA team has handled over 33,000 contacts, offering critical resources and support to our community in need.

Despite these efforts, the need remains overwhelming with over 10,000 households still seeking emergency housing. Our dedicated team continues working around the clock to connect individuals to vital resources. This includes matching evacuees with suitable hotel accommodations, arranging transportation, providing meal vouchers, and offering case management to connect them with other essential services and support. A portion of the funds also supports the operational infrastructure necessary to coordinate and deliver these services, such as staffing, resource coordination, and data collection, so that 211 LA can respond quickly and effectively to those in need. By covering both direct relief expenses and the organizational support behind them, we ensure every donation has the greatest impact for those affected by the disaster.
