Former NBA player and New York Knicks Jeremy Tyler has joined forces with The Recovery Education Foundation (The R.A.R.E. Foundation) to launch an initiative focused on empowering youth with essential financial literacy and identity protection. During his time playing in New York, Jeremy saw firsthand the need for financial education among students in underserved communities and realized his calling to give back in a meaningful way. Now, he is dedicated to using his platform and experience to uplift young people, equipping them with the tools to build a secure financial future.

Jeremy Tyler’s Commitment to Financial Education for New York Students

Through this impactful partnership, The R.A.R.E. Foundation and Jeremy Tyler aim to sponsor up to 250,000 students, providing them with the knowledge and resources they need to manage finances and protect themselves from identity theft. With a minimum donation of $25, supporters will not only protect themselves (Protect Yourself) but also sponsor a student (Educate a Student) to receive a comprehensive financial literacy package, including:

One year of Equifax Complete Premier, offering extensive credit monitoring, identity theft protection, and $1 million in ID Theft Coverage.
"The Power of Credit" e-book, teaching foundational principles for building and maintaining a strong financial future.
"Who Stole My Identity?" e-book by 17-year-old financial literacy advocate Preston "Kid Kredit" Luzunaris, which provides practical steps for preventing identity theft.
A 12-Course Digital Financial Literacy Curriculum, designed to equip students with critical financial skills.
Specialized Workshops for Young Athletes, hosted by Jeremy Tyler, covering essential financial management skills, contract basics, and the importance of saving and investing.
A FREE Credit Consultation, available remotely or in person at the Credit Education Center in the Bronx, New York.
