Fostering Change Fund Donations

The Junior League of Colorado Springs Fostering Change Fund is a grant program that seeks to assist current and former foster youth and adoptive families in the Colorado Springs community with specific, short-term monetary needs. Its primary purpose is to help fill gaps in foster youths' transition from foster care to independence, and to reduce risk factors associated with aging out of the foster care system, such as homelessness, human trafficking, and domestic violence.

Grants up to $1,500 are available for needs relaed to health and wellbeing, education support, cultural development, living expenses, and employment support.

The projects funded represent the Junior League of Colorado Springs' commitment to our community. During the 2023-2024 League Year, grants have been awarded for: 

  • Housing support to prevent homelessness,
  • Motor vehicle repairs to ensure recipients have safe and reliably transportation,
  • High-education tuition support,
  • Medical bill assistance

100% of donations made through this campaign support the continued growth and availability of the Fostering Change Fund.
